Download Arnacon and you can call and message as an email you already own, or as a brand-new identity. No phone number required. That is the product today.
Traffic that stays between Arnacon identities is not a WhatsApp conversation. Meta is not in that path. If you never open the WhatsApp door, there is nothing for Meta to store about that talk.
Anyone can run their own version. They choose the privacy. They choose the customers. Arnacon only enables. You bring the brand.

What you can do today
- Talk as an email address you verify.
- Talk as a new personal identity you create.
- Call and message without a phone number.
- In the EU, optionally message a WhatsApp user who has also opted in. That is a door. It is not the default. Both sides must opt in.
What we aim not to hold
Arnacon is built so that calls and messages between identities do not need an Arnacon inbox of your content. We do not want a log of what you said. We do not sell profiles. We do not run advertising networks in the app.
The older notice on cellact.nl said we collect no personal data at all. That sentence is too wide for 2026, so this page replaces it for Arnacon. Identifiers can exist (an email you verify, a push token so a phone can ring, a from/to trace without the body). Third parties you choose can collect more. We would rather say that here than let someone else discover it.
WhatsApp, named
The Digital Markets Act lets people in the EU message across apps. Arnacon supports that for opted-in WhatsApp users.
Meta's terms for that framework include that Meta may store metadata of users of the external service. Signal and Telegram refused those terms. We did not hide the door. We also will not hide the cost of opening it.
- You opt in. The WhatsApp user opts in. Nobody is silently bridged.
- A message you send to WhatsApp is on WhatsApp. Their terms apply. That can include metadata they store.
- A call or message that stays on Arnacon (email to identity, identity to identity) does not need WhatsApp. Stay on the rail and Meta is not invited.
- If you run your own version, you choose whether that door exists.
This website
On arnacon.com we may record a page view (path, referrer, language, screen size, time) so we know if the site works. That tracker is built not to fire on github.io or localhost. We do not use it to retarget you. Store badges and fonts are loaded from Apple, Google, and Google Fonts when you open a page that uses them.
Others who may see something
- Apple and Google, if you download from their stores.
- A payment provider, if you buy a product that requires it. They may collect an email for the charge. We are not that gateway.
- A local service provider, if you take a numbered product they sell. Their regulation, their file. Not ours to keep.
- Network helpers used to set up a call (for example STUN). They can see that a connection was attempted, not the conversation you came to have.
Your rights
If EU/UK GDPR applies to you, you can ask what we hold, correct it, delete it, limit it, or object. Write to support@arnacon.com. You can also complain to the Dutch AP (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). We will not fight a deletion of a device id or a push token that only exists so the phone can ring.
Children
Arnacon is not directed at children under 16. Do not create an identity for a child.
Terms
The application terms remain at arnacon.com/tandc. If this page and an older Cellact URL disagree, this page wins for Arnacon from 2 September 2026.
Changes
If the product changes how data is handled, we change this page. No silent policy.
